Claremont completes new office for Jones Lang LaSalle at Chancery Place

Monday 16 February 2009

Claremont Group Interiors recently completed the fit-out of Jones Lang LaSalle’s new 7,702 sq ft office at Chancery Place in Manchester city centre, on the 10th floor of the signature 105,000 sq ft development.

Located on the former site of a seven storey 1960s office building which stood derelict for a number of years, Jones Lang LaSalle relocated to Chancery Place from their previous premises on King Street.

The fit-out employed a combination of new and existing furniture as a cost-effective solution to the creation of a stylish and comfortable working environment. Claremont provided a new reception area with a strong brand identity, a business lounge to encourage visitors to use their facilities, an open plan office space, breakout areas and two executive boardroom suites complete with integrated audiovisual technology.

Claremont accommodated 76 existing work-stations into the office while retaining an airy, open-plan environment and created a high-density storage centre to maximise space and light.

Jonathan Mills, Head of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Manchester office said:

“Chancery Place offers the highest-standard of modern office architecture in one of Manchester’s prime locations. Claremont ensured that our office design lives up to the promise of the building and provided us with a supremely modern and stylish office-space which provides a welcoming reception to our clients and takes full-advantage of Chancery Place’s abundant natural light.”

Mike Gardner, Managing Director of Claremont said:

“It’s been very exciting working with Jones Lang LaSalle on their relocation to Chancery Place. In these current market conditions, it has become increasingly important for businesses to provide a welcoming, high-specification environment for its staff and clients and Chancery Place most definitely does this.”
